he terms Fossilstone...Shellstone...Coquina...Coralstone...refer to numerous
types of limestone's that were deposited on ancient sea beds. True to their names
these stones contain fossilized marine life.

Their unique characteristics are unlike any other stone available. These stones vary
widely from fragile chalky seashell encrusted with an open texture to a denser harder
stone suitable for flooring materials.

Their applications include flooring...pavers...columns...furniture & more.

Sedimentary...These are considered Limestone's.

HARACTERISTICS

The colored coralstones contain carbonaceous pigmenting matter. In exterior installation these pigments are affected by the weathering process and the UV rays of the sun and will fade to lighter colors over time.

Easily absorbs oils & other liquids...Easily scratched...Acid-Sensitive

COLORS

Radical variations of colors from cream to creamy-white...tan to dark brown...rust light yellow...black. Some varieties are multi-colored and some contain strong veins of golden yellow to white or clear crystal formations.

Smooth
Matt Finish...Polished

NOTATIONS

Highly recommended to treat  these stones with a water repellent for practical maintenance considerations and to minimize staining.
